New York-based, Turkish-Italian producer multi-instrumentalist Carlita uses her classical background and eclectic taste to craft genre-bending, dynamic electronic compositions grounded by hypnotic grooves. She’s cultivated a unique sound that is simultaneously consistent and evolving, focused and all-encompassing, always striving to find the pulse within a haze of instruments and rhythms.
Carlita‘s blend of musical influences has fully informed her digital soundscapes. Growing up around classical theory, Turkish psychedelic rock, and Brazilian music, Carlita naturally incorporates her long-standing musical talents and passions into electronic productions.

Fans can hear this multifaceted sound on Carlita’s newest EP, Bon Trip. Bon Trip is a vibrant, groovy collection that expands Carlita’s sonic palette and solidifies her as one of the most exciting up-and-coming producers.
The EP kicks off with the title track, a spacey slice of progressive house drenched with a classic piano line. It’s exactly what you would want to listen to as the sun rises and sets at your favorite outdoor party. Next, “Run Run Run” kicks into high gear with an irresistible bassline that offsets Duddha’s spiritual, leftfield vocals. The package is then rounded out by two remixes – Krystal Klear’s punchy, electro-interpretation of the title track and Red Axes’ 303-inspired version of “Run Run Run.”
Of the release, Carlita states: “I conceived this EP during the pandemic in order to create positive energy for myself. I dreamt of parties and iconic venues that I wanted to play, of people being able to dance together carelessly again. After putting the finishing touches throughout the summer while touring non-stop, I realized that the summer of 2022 was the “bon trip.” With Bon Trip, I stepped out of my comfort zone to create this psychedelic and uplifting package.”
Bon Trip comes on the heels of the official Carlita remixes of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s track “See You Again” and Diplo’s “Don’t Be Afraid.” It also follows her New York Fashion Week event – a multisensory high-fashion concept party called Senza Fine. The party blurred the boundaries between genres of music, people, design, and experience. Attendees were immersed in a boundless celebration of the senses through the use of colored haze, lighting, fragrance, and curation of architectural design.
